It can be said to be the most. . .
Book for your wedding.
Guests remember if they had a good time at your wedding.
The fees you pay are what you get and hiring music entertainment can be said to be the most important booking at your wedding.
Guests remember if they had a good time at your wedding.
What you give is what you get. it's a good rule of thumb.
However, I want to educate consumers, future brides and grooms, how to hire a DJ and what needs to be considered.
The following are nine important factors to consider when hiring a record jockey before signing a contract. 1.
Who will be a DJ on your occasion?
Many DJ companies.
System operation.
Be sure to tell your DJ in writing that you will be attending your event.
I would recommend meeting your DJ first in neutral places like restaurant hire company. 2.
How many years of functional experience do your DJ have?
Anyone can pretend to be a DJ.
If you are having a formal event, does your DJ know how to organize a wedding reception or a grand entrance?
DJ should perform the type of show you want! 3.
Is the DJ getting everyone involved in dancing or is it just playing music?
You have to ask yourself if you want a DJ that will make everyone dance?
For example, will a DJ attract guests by playing and directing inspirational dances, such as chicken dance, Hokey Pokey, Cha Slide, or just playing music? 4.
Is the DJ dressed properly?
Formal means a dress or dress. Semi-
Formal means to wear trousers, shirts, ties or casual pants and shirts.
Casual refers to polo shirts or corporate shirts.
Make sure the DJ is dressed properly on set
Lifting of equipment.
Some guests did arrive early and very late. 5.
What is the cost of a DJ?
How much overtime?
Does the fee include tips?
Will lighting be charged extra-
What does lighting include?
How much does it cost to travel to your location?
Do you only pay for the time of the DJ show? 6.
Does DJ include contract?
Be sure to have all the details of the functionality in written form.
The DJ must know the date, place and time!
You must know the name and phone number of the other party, including the situation of the day. 7.
Professional DJ company?
It may sound silly, but is there insurance for the DJ?
The accident did happen.
It's best to be prepared.
Also, is the DJ a member of the National DJ Association like ADJA or NAME?
If they are, then they care about what they do and are more likely to become professionals. 8.
What equipment is the DJ using?
Usually, if the DJ is using a branded device that you can buy at a local retail store, then that's what you'll get.
Excellent brands include: JBL, community, Denon, Gemini, QSC, Crown, etc.
I mean, always ask if the DJ is back.
Equip your function.
Also, make sure the DJ brings the right sound to the expected number of guests. 9.
What music do you play?
How many music choices will DJ have?
Make sure your DJ accepts requests before and during your work.
Also, give them a guideline on what you want to play.
This, however, is the DJ's reward.
Don't say you want all one music or a list of 100 songs they have to play to limit the DJ.
The best scene is to play any music that makes people dance and have fun.
By the way, it should be understood that the DJ will not play any offensive music.
I hope this helps!
